Viazi Karai is a popular snack in our family. The first time I had it was at the Coast and that flavour is one I have remembered ever since. This viazi karai is not only fried in a bhajia batter but also adds in more flavour in the middle with a quick tomato and chilli paste. Viazi Vya Karai (pronounced ˈvɪjɑzɪ vjɑ kɑrɑjɪ) is one of those easy-to-learn, hassle-free snacks. It is a comfort dish, mainly found on the streets of Mombasa.
